Yard waste, such as leaves, grass clippings, garden debris, hedge prunings and sod, should be disposed of properly. Or, if yard waste is composted, it must be maintained properly, and kept in the rear yard, so as to not create a nuisance for adjacent properties. Dumping of grass and weed clippings, tree limbs or other debris on private or city property is prohibited.
Yard waste can be brought to the Public Works Facility, located at 410 Investment Court. It is open from April 1 to the middle of November on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays from 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Place yard waste in the yard waste bin located behind the building. Please take your yard waste out of any bags. Any small twigs, vines and branches with a diameter less than pencil thickness are considered yard waste.
