Department Responsibilities


Directed by Theran Jacobson, the Public Works Department is responsible for the year-round maintenance of streets, sidewalks, street lighting, and storm sewers, as well as oversight for refuse and recycling, sewer and water utilities, and other general street and / or utility related issues that face the city.

  1. Tire Recycling Fee Increase

    Due to rising processing costs the price for tire recycling has increased effective immediately. New Cost: $5 per tire (car, motorcycle, etc) $20 per large tire (tractor, etc) Tires must be off rim. A maximum of four tires per visit.
