Badger Mill Creek - Sugar River Area Study
The Badger Mill Creek Study area encompasses approximately 1,702 acres of land located within Verona's Southwest Neighborhood. The study was completed to provide recommendations for urban development standards and environmental corridor boundaries that will provide protection to water resource features in the area.

City/Town Boundary Agreement
On June 20, 2016 the City of Verona and Town of Verona adopted a Boundary Agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to create predictability for development in both jurisdictions.

Community Design Solutions
CDS is a consulting firm. They were tasked with creating designs for the 12.2-acre properties that house Sugar Creek Elementary School and New Century Charter School. The various designs include development, preservation of New Century building, and public space.

Comprehensive Plan
In October of 2019, the City of Verona reconfirming and adopting the 2010 Comprehensive Plan. The City's Comprehensive Plan establishes a vision and serves as a long-term guide for future growth. The Plan also serves as the basis for the City's subdivision regulations, official mapping, and amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map.

In March of 2014, the City adopted a Downtown Mobility and Development Plan to help facilitate redevelopment within the Downtown area.

Housing
The Housing affordability analysis includes the current housing stock, housing occupancy types, projected housing needs, addresses how the City is providing a variety of housing choices for all income levels, and considerations to cut the time and cost for a new residential development by 20%.

North Neighborhood Plan
In February of 2015, the City adopted the North Neighborhood Plan. The North Neighborhood is located north and west of the City of Verona and encompasses approximately 1,600 acres of land.

Northwest Neighborhood Plan
In February of 2018, the City adopted the Northwest Neighborhood Plan. The Northwest Neighborhood Plan includes lands generally bounded by CTH PD (McKee Road) to the south, University Ridge Golf Course to the east, and the Town of Verona to the north and west.

Southeast Neighborhood Plan
In January of 2010, the City adopted the Southeast Neighborhood Plan. The Plan encompasses 1,960 acres bounded by Grandview Road on the north; the north-south line between the Town of Verona and the City of Fitchburg on the east; the planned corridor for the Ice Age Trail on the south; and U.S. Highway 18-151 and the County Trunk Highway PB on the west.

Southwest Neighborhood Plan
In June of 2009, the City adopted the Southwest Neighborhood Plan. This is the first neighborhood plan to begin providing more detailed information for planned urban development identified in the City's future growth areas.

Bike and Pedestrian Study
This project is a study of the existing and proposed bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the City of Verona. The purpose of the study is to identify existing bicycle and pedestrian facilities both on-street and off-street and to identify possible routes and improvements to connect neighborhoods, park, schools and commercial areas. The objective of the study is to improve and identify new transportation facilities to accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians and encourage their use.
