County Highway (CTH) PD Expansion (Country View Rd to Shady Oak Ln)

General Project Information / Goals:

The segment of CTH PD from Country View Road to Shady Oak Lane is planned to be expanded during the construction season of 2023.  The project will include expanding the highway from a two (2) lane rural section to a four-lane boulevard section (similar to the section east of Woods Road), relocate the intersection of Country View Road to the east, install traffic signals at the intersection of Country View Road, and replace the culvert under CTH PD that is 700 feet west of Shady Oak lane.

The goal is to increase intersection safety and traffic flow while providing left turn movements to Shady Oak Lane and Country View Road.

Traffic improvements are more specifically listed below at each intersection:

1.    CTH PD – Country View Road intersection

  1. Relocate the intersection to the east
  2. Provide CTH PD westbound turn lanes to Country View Road
  3. Install traffic signals

2.    CTH PD – Shady Oak Lane intersection

  1. Provide left turn lane for eastbound and westbound CTH PD
